In 2001, my brother John asked me to redesign his 4-year old website dedicated to Chinese legal resources. He first started the website as Chinese Contract Law Forum using Frontpage 98. Four years after the launch of the website, cclaw.net had became one of the most popular Chinese legal websites. Even some hackers attacked it and completely destroyed its Frontpage themes.

All I basically needed to do was cleanup Frontpage HTML, redesign GUI with CSS and DHTML menu using Dreamweaver MX, and extract old contents and reload them back.

I installed phpBB, a popular forum module among the PHP communities. Started adding Word of the Day feature that would eventually become a Chinese - English legal dictionary.

The project is still under development, since I have not implemented all of the initial requirements.
